Luke Beveridge has made five changes to the Western Bulldogs side that last travelled west, ahead of Thursday night's Elimination Final in Perth.

Returning from injury Tom Liberatore, Jack Macrae, Jordan Roughead and Easton Wood have all been named, while Jake Stringer has also been recalled.

Will Minson, Bailey Williams,Fletcher Roberts, Koby Stevens and Nathan Hrovat have all been omitted.

Speaking to media on arrival in Perth, assistant coach Steven King said that Liberatore and Macrae would need to get through a light run at WACA before taking their place in the final side tomorrow night.

"We’ll have another light run this afternoon but they’ve done a lot of work over the last six weeks so fingers crossed they’ll be out there," King said.

"If they tick every box when we have a run around tonight, we’ll be expecting if they get through they’ll play."

Neither Liberatore or Macrae have played since round 19, while Wood and Roughead missed just the one match through injury, but King said that if fully fit, they are a signficant boost for the Dogs ahead of Thursday night's cuthroat final.

"If you look at them all indivudially there’s some All-Australians, some best and fairest winners, and for us, they’re all vital cogs in our team.

"I’ve got no doubt they’d make us stronger."

The Bulldogs take on the West Coast Eagles on Thursday night, with the first bounce 8:10pm. (6:10pm local time)
