The final stretches of the 2020 Toyota AFL Season have been confirmed for the Western Bulldogs, with the AFL releasing another round of fixtures today.
It will see the Bulldogs face the Geelong Cats in round 14, followed by a bye (round 15), the West Coast Eagles (round 16), Hawthorn (round 17) and Fremantle (round 18).
The details for round 18, the final round of home-and-away fixtures, have yet to be locked in.
At least two of those clashes – against the Cats and Hawks – will be broadcast into Victoria on free-to-air television.
The Bulldogs will get a six-day break following their round 13 game against Melbourne, before taking on the third-placed Cats on Friday 28 August at Metricon Stadium.
It’s then a nine-day break before playing the fourth-placed Eagles at the same venue, in a night game on Sunday 6 September.
At least one more road trip awaits the Bulldogs, with a trip to Adelaide to play the Hawks on Sunday 13 September.
The Dockers will be based out of a Cairns hub for the latter stages of the season, however it remains to be confirmed if the Bulldogs will play them at Cazaly’s Stadium, or at another venue.
