Earlier this week the All Australian Team was announced and not surprisingly, named in the side were two key Bulldogs, Brian Lake and Matthew Boyd. On Tuesday morning this week the team stepped out onto Whitten Oval for their last open training session before this Friday night's Preliminary Final against St Kilda. The weather was perfect and reflected the positive atmosphere that all those in attendance created. As fans both young and old sat in the new and improved EJ Whitten stand watching their heroes out on the field, excitement and anticipation was in the air.

This Friday night the Bulldogs play for a spot in the 2009 Grand Final, this is the challenge the team has been building towards all year and we know that the job is not done yet.

On Friday night as the team take to the field we want every single one of our members and supporters in the stands to cheer the 'Red, White and Blue' to victory and create history for the Western Bulldogs Football Club.
