Western Bulldogs midfielder Daniel Cross will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a dislocated right AC joint in yesterday’s clash against St Kilda at Etihad stadium.
Cross will undergo surgery today and is expected to spend up to 12 weeks rehabilitating his right AC joint.

Club Medical Services Manager, Andrew McKenzie said the AC joint was sustained from ground contact as a result of a tackle, early in the game yesterday.
“Daniel sustained a dislocated right acromioclavicular (AC) joint as a result of incidental ground contact from a tackle late in the first quarter yesterday,” McKenzie said.
General Manager of Football, James Fantasia said Cross will approach the rehabilitation from this injury as he has approached his football over a 12-year career — meticulously.
“Daniel is a quality person and the consummate professional when it comes to his body and the way he prepares.”
“We expect that from him again with his rehabilitation this time around,” Fantasia said
