The LeasePlan Western Bulldogs have further strengthened their reputation as the community club of the AFL, with over half the club’s list visiting several Western Health facilities on Monday 27^th August.

Captain Brad Johnson lead the way during the community visits, dropping into the Hazeldean Nursing Home in Williamstown to chat with the residents, many of whom were quick to retell their found memories of the clubs only Premiership in 1954. 

While Johnson was swapping stories with the Hazeldean residents, 18 other Bulldogs players visited four other Western Health facilities including the Western Hospital, Sunshine Hospital, Williamstown Hospital and the Reg Geary House to help lift the spirits of its patients while also thanking the dedicated staff for all their hard work.    

These player visits formed part of a wider Community Partnership between the Western Bulldogs and Western Health. This is the fourth year Western Bulldogs players have visited the five Western Health facilities.
