The Bulldogs are looking beyond 2008 with several of the side's key players re-signing until 2011.

Robert Murphy, Daniel Cross, Matthew Boyd, Dale Morris and Josh Hill have all signed on until 2001, while Ryan Griffen has re-signed until 2010. Captain Brad Johnson has also signed a one year deal for 2009.

Daniel Giansiracusa is also expected to re-sign until 2011 today or tomorrow while several other key young players are also being spoken to and their signings will be announced in the next few weeks.

Senior Coach Rodney Eade said it was extremely pleasing the team's core group of future players had re-signed for long periods.

"Its great that they can see the Club is going in the right direction both on and off the field in what will hopefully be ongoing success during their time with the Bulldogs," he said.

"The fact that they have signed up mid-season shows that they are tight knit group who all want the same thing and enjoy working together."

General Manager of Football, James Fantasia agreed saying the re-signings really showed the players commitment to the Club and to Rodney.

"We have a great group of young men who are keen to commit to each other and it really speaks volumes for where the club is now heading and the change in focus in 2008."
