So what makes Easton Wood tick? AFL Media’s Catherine Ellis caught up with the young Bulldogs backman earlier in the week in the first of a series of player features.

In a light hearted chat, Ellis and Wood covered-off a variety of topics of including Easton’s athlete parents, Twitter and music snobbery.

While many of the Bulldog faithful might be aware of Wood’s talents on the cricket pitch and running track, few may know of his parents sporting achievements representing New Zealand in track and field.

Wood discusses the influence of his parents on his sporting development - including carrot sticks replacing chips in his school lunchboxes.
