THE WESTERN Bulldogs have added three players to their extended squad set to take on North Melbourne on Sunday evening at Etihad Stadium.

The Dogs have named Will Minson, Brennan Stack and Dylan Addison on their seven-man interchange bench that will be trimmed before Sunday's game.

There are no omissions at this stage.

"We've got no injury concerns so we'll probably go in unchanged," coach Rodney Eade told Bulldogs TV on Thursday night.

"At this stage, we've added three players to the 22 to make it a 25 list that goes into the weekend's game and we'll finalise that on [Friday] afternoon.

"For the players last week, it was a very good team performance except for Adam Cooney, who had over 30 possessions.

"There wasn't a big high possession-rate among our players. It was a really good even contribution across our board."

Eade praised the performance of defenders Easton Wood, Rob Murphy, Dale Morris and Tom Williams - who carried on his recent promising form - against the Carlton forwards.

He echoed his thoughts from earlier in the day regarding the new-look speedy forward line and what it had brought to the side, and added that ruckman Ben Hudson's return to seniors - and good form - had been another component of the Dogs' resurgence.

"He was dropped earlier in the season for a couple of rounds but since he's been back in the team he's really given the side a great lift with his body work and most of the weeks, been giving us first access to the ball," he said.

Minson has been out of the senior side since round 14 while Stack has played eight games for the year but not since round 12 against St Kilda.

Addison has played just two senior games this season but was one of Williamstown's best on Saturday evening in their Foxtel Cup win over East Perth at Etihad Stadium.

Joining the three additions on the bench are Shaun Higgins, Josh Hill, Sam Reid and Andrew Hooper.

Ed Barlow will miss another week with the finger he fractured against Melbourne a fortnight ago, while Eade revealed earlier on Thursday Ryan Hargrave was scheduled for a VFL return next weekend.

The League will celebrate Multicultural Round this weekend after the theme was launched on Tuesday at Aegis Oval, where the Dogs were represented by young gun Tom Liberatore.

Daniel Giansiracusa will preside over the coin toss on Sunday evening as the club's multicultural ambassador.

Meanwhile, the Kangaroos have added four players to their squad - Gavin Urquhart, Ben Warren, Benjamin Speight and Jamie Macmillan - and have omitted out-of-form forward Lindsay Thomas.

Captain Brent Harvey has been named but remains in doubt after scans revealed a dislodged bone fragment in his left thumb earlier in the week.
