Bulldogs fans can catch their favourite players training at Mission Whitten Oval on the following days in January before they depart for our preseason camp in Queensland at the end of the month:  

  • Friday 17 January – 9:30am to approx. 11:30am
  • Monday 20 January – 9:30am to approx. 11:30am
  • Wednesday 22 January – 9:30am to approx. 11am
  • Friday 24 January – 9:30am to approx. 11:30am

ALFA Café will be open for refreshments and the Bulldogs Shop will be open from 9am – 2pm on the above dates and stocked with the latest gear for season 2025.

Please note that the above training times are open for members and fans to view training however, players will not be available for boundary signings or photographs.

Players will only be available for signings and photographs at advertised sessions held periodically throughout the year.

Back on track for 2025

The squad hit the track for the first time in 2025 for a 2km time trial, as they returned for ASICS pre-season.

About Mission Whitten Oval

Access:

Access to the ground is via Gate 1 (Barkly St), Gate 2 (Whitten Ave/ALFA Cafe) or Gate 3 (Cross St). 

Accessibility information:

Mission Whitten Oval has the following facilities available to all visitors:

  • Multi-faith prayer room
  • Parent room with changing facilities
  • Changes Places facility suitable for individuals with high support needs
  • Elevated disability viewing spots located around the venue
  • Accessibility parking

People with accessibility needs are encouraged to access the venue via Gate 2 (Whitten Avenue via ALFA Café/main reception).

Transport options: 

By train

Mission Whitten Oval is next door to West Footscray train station – only five stops from Flinders Street station on the Sunbury Line. On arrival, a 100-metre stroll will get you to Gate 3 on Cross St. Directional signage will be in place at the station to ensure you don’t lose your way.

Parking

Please be aware that there is limited parking at the ground and in the surrounding streets with traffic changes and road closures in place during gamedays.

Brand new bicycle parking is located on Barkly Street just outside Gate 1.
