Relentless defender Dylan Addison will return to the selection mix for Sunday’s match against St Kilda after being given the all clear by medical staff.

Sidelined for the past three weeks with a broken jaw, Addison incurred the injury in a clash with Essendon’s Stewart Crameri during the Club’s Round 14 fixture against the Bombers.

Addison has been back in non contact training these past few weeks and is eager for a recall against the Saints.

Western Bulldogs Medical Services Manager Andrew McKenzie said Addison is keen to reclaim his place in the senior side after his recent stint on the sidelines.

“[Addison] was cleared to return to play this week by the surgeons so we are really happy with that.”

“He has been in full training just without contact and he is ready to go - he is raring to go.”

Adam Cooney will also undergo fitness tests at the end of the week to assess his eligibility for this Sunday’s clash against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
