Players and staff will tour the facilities English Premier League champions Manchester City, European giants Chelsea and Liverpool, and Fulham - home of Socceroos goal keeper Mark Schwarzer.

The Club will also spend time with revered English rugby union side Harlequins, who are the current AVIVA Premiership Champions.

"We're trying to use the opportunity to educate the boys," Western Bulldogs football general manager James Fantasia told the Herald Sun.

"It's not going to be a sweat camp, boot camp-type thing, but we'll get on with the normal running, some weights and we'll get the balls out as well."

The full Bulldogs playing list and coaching staff will make the trip after returning from annual leave.

"Predominantly we'll play a young side and give those boys a run, but there will still be some recognisable experience in there as well."

"Guys like Liam Picken, Luke Dahlhaus, those type of players will play," Fantasia said.

The Bulldogs take on Port Adelaide at The Oval on November 3. The British exhibition match is the first in England since 2006.
