The Victory Room at Etihad Stadium was packed with red, white and blue last night, with over 1000 Western Bulldogs Social Club and Premiership Gold members attending the exclusive annual Christmas event.

The Club’s most loyal and passionate fans reminisced with departing President David Smorgon, were privy to a number of insights from Senior Coach Brendan McCartney and looked to the future with Presidential candidate Peter Gordon addressing the audience.

Members were given the opportunity to mingle with players and coaching staff alike, with new Development Coach Ashley Hansen introducing our newest recruits on stage, while newly appointed Strategic Operations Manager Ben Graham fronted the audience for a Q & A.

Captain Matthew Boyd, Will Minson and Mitch Wallis were also put in the hot seat, answering guests’ questions - submitted via the Bulldogs official Twitter account (@Westernbulldogs).

Guests had the chance to get player signatures, buy new season merchandise, win a range of prizes in the Christmas raffle and get a personal memento of the evening - taking pictures with their favourite players in the photo booth.

The annual Christmas party event is free to all Social Club and Premiership Gold members and also included a FREE Mission wrap burrito, beverage voucher and ice cream.
