A penalty shootout with Australian Socceroo Mark Schwarzer was on the agenda when the Western Bulldogs visited English Premier League giants Fulham FC while on tour in the United Kingdom.

Bulldogs tall Jordan Roughead presented the Fulham goal keeper with a Dogs guernsey before showing off his soccer skills.

“We were lucky enough to get to Fulham football club this morning and met an Australian sporting legend Mark Schwarzer,” Roughead said.

“I presented him with a Western Bulldogs jumper with the number 1 and Schwarzer on the back and was lucky enough to step up to the penalty spot and put one past his left hand.

“He returned the favour and put one back past me but yeah, sporting legend in Australia and a great opportunity to meet the man.”

Luke Dahlhaus also embraced the chance to meet the internationally known footballer and tour the Fulham FC facilities.

“It was a pretty surreal moment I have always loved Mark and how he’s gone about it and I even got a hug in which was quite nice - so yeah, very fun,” Dahlhaus said.
