365 days of the year they’re there for us
Attend a BBQ & Remembrance Service for Blue Ribbon Day on Wednesday 29th September, at Whitten Oval.
Have a kick to kick with members of the Victorian Police and enjoy a BBQ lunch at 12.30pm, with a Remembrance Service commencing at 1.40pm sharp.
Blue Ribbon Day is a day when all Victorians have an opportunity to remember police officers who have been killed in the line of duty.
You can participate in Blue Ribbon Day in a number of ways; from attending a Memorial Service in your community, to wearing a Badge of Remembrance or by organising an appropriate activity through your workplace or social club.
From September 5th badges & blue ribbon stickers are available from Police Stations, 7-Eleven Stores, St George & Westpac Bank branches, RACV offices, Woodards Real Estate, Fowles, Tobin Brothers and other outlets.
