Hudson, 32, who announced his retirement last week in typically low-key fashion, has been brought in for one last AFL appearance that will take his career tally to 143 games.
Easton Wood and Mitch Wallis are the other two inclusions, with the former returning from the ankle problem that forced him to miss last week's loss to Hawthorn, while the latter will play his first senior game since round 11.
Ayce Cordy leaves the side with a broken hand, while Dylan Addison and Josh Hill have been omitted.
Caretaker coach Paul Williams said Cordy had undergone surgery on his hand but was not expected to encounter problems with it over the pre-season.
He also said the players were looking forward to farewelling Hall and Hudson, and also paying tribute to retiring forward and mature-age rookie Mitch Hahn, who is currently involved in Williamstown's VFL finals campaign.
"We've been really keen to get Mitch [Wallis] in over the last few weeks. He hurt his hamstring three weeks ago but played a full game for Williamstown last week," he told Bulldogs TV.
"He'll come into the midfield and play alongside his great mate Tom Liberatore.
"Easton comes back from the mishap at training where he hurt his ankle, and we've been really keen to get him back because our backline is very depleted.
"Ben Hudson … we really wanted to get him into the team because it's his last game and also because he's well loved at the football club.
"It's Hudson and Hall's last games so it's going to be a really big occasion, along with Hahn, who doesn't get an opportunity to play but he's another well liked player at our club."
The Dogs' side will feature 10 players with less than 20 games of AFL experience to their names, which Williams says will produce an exciting glimpse of the future for supporters at Saturday's game at Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, injury-hit Fremantle has made five changes, with Antoni Grover, Benjamin Bucovaz, Alex Silvagni, Justin Bollenhagen and Jayden Pitt coming into the team for what will be Byron Schammer's final game.
Garrick Ibbotson (shoulder), Peter Faulks (jaw), Rhys Palmer (groin), Nat Fyfe (shoulder) and Nick Lower (suspension) make way.
The club had to seek special permission from the AFL to upgrade Casey Sibosado in place of Matt De Boer, owing to the injury crisis that drastically restricted the number of available players.
Sibosado has been named as an emergency with Hamish Shepheard and Joel Houghton.
