It’s Member Recognition Round and the Western Bulldogs would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members for their commitment to the red, white and blue in 2011.

Our members truly are the lifeblood of this Club and we could not be the Club we are without the passion, dedication and support of our members.

In 2011, 21 dedicated members attended all home and away games and 586 members attend all home games. To show our appreciation of the unwavering loyalty shown by these members, 80 members have been randomly selected to form a “Hall of Honour” at the game on Saturday to farewell Barry Hall and Ben Hudson as they run onto the ground for the final time.

The Western Bulldogs also ran a competition last week for members to update their Personal Details and/or become a ‘Bulldog For Life’ for the chance to win one of three spots in a corporate box for this weekend’s match.   We are happy to announce the winners of this competition, who will be enjoying the experience with three of their closets friends and family:
  • Monique Blampie
  • Jake Benedict
  • Chris Galea
Each of these members opted to end the season a ‘Bulldog For Life’ and will join the payment plan option that makes being a Western Bulldogs member straight forward.

To celebrate Member Recognition Round, we have also secured a second corporate box and the following members who updated their details via their My Bulldogs Account have also won a spot in a Corporate Box for themselves and a friend or family member this weekend. Congratulations to:
  • Patricia Hannigan
  • James Dainty
  • Phillip Hunt
  • Mark Bissett
  • Deborah Crockett

Thank you again to all our loyal members and followers of the red, white and blue, and we look forward to seeing you at Etihad Stadium tomorrow afternoon at 2:10pm to farewell Barry Hall, Ben Hudson and Mitch Hahn in their last AFL game with the club.
