Dogs’ duo Tom Liberatore and Sam Darcy have impressed the coaches in the Round 2 loss to Collingwood.
Both Liberatore and Darcy polled eight votes each in the Sharp EIT Solutions AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award; the most votes awarded on the night.
Liberatore led by example as stand-in skipper, registering 34 disposals, nine clearances, 468 metres gained and a goal.
Darcy starred with a game-high four goals from 15 disposals, eight marks and nine score involvements.
