The Club is now delighted to announce, that the season 2009 Charles Sutton Medal (Best and Fairest), presented by Bulldogs Travel has been moved to a Saturday Night and to a new and prestigious venue. The celebrations for 2009 will be held in the all new Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday the 3rd October.

Earlier this year, the club polled members as to their preference on nights for the clubs best and fairest. The over whelming majority pointed to a Saturday night as members preferred night for the event.

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is sleek and innovative, with a 6 star efficiency rating. The Western Bulldogs look forward to welcoming you to this brand new venue and becoming one of the first AFL Clubs to use the new facilities.

Who will claim the Charles Sutton Medal for 2009? Could it be that Adam Cooney will claim his first Best and Fairest medal? Or can you see Brian Lake or Daniel Cross reclaiming the title in 2009?

Join the entire Western Bulldogs playing group, past players, the Board of Directors, members and fellow supporters as we come together at The Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre to award the Charles Sutton Medal and celebrate season 2009.

This is a great opportunity to rub shoulders with the players, coaches, staff and fellow members, and to come  together to recognise this year’s high achievers, look back on highlights of the 2009 season round by round and wait in anticipation as each vote is counted, culminating in the presentation of the 2009 Charles Sutton Medal.
