Season Overview:
After making a show-stopping debut in 2011,
Jason Tutt’s development was hampered this season - enduring a horror run with injuries. After a stalled start to the year the pacey midfielder began to regain confidence in his body, earning his selection in the senior side for five consecutive weeks.

By the Numbers:
The 21-year-old’s return from injury saw him waste no time kicking four goals in Williamstown’s development squad with less than 50% game time. Tutt added five senior games to his career tally in 2012 but only played the full four quarters in two games after being named as substitute twice and being subbed out of the match in his final game for the year against North Melbourne in Round 19. His best game for the year in the senior side saw him collect 12 possessions at 83.33% disposal efficiency, seven marks, three tackles, three inside 50s and a goal.
Season Highlight:
Tutt produced his best performance for the year in round 14 of the VFL with a performance that subsequently saw him elevated to the senior squad the following week. The Canberra product had 14 touches, four marks, four tackles and three goals.
Pre-Season Focus:
The young pup will be looking to consolidate a more regular spot in the Bulldogs starting lineup in 2013 and will be eager to get an injury free pre-season under his belt. While outside dash is one of his strengths, Tutt has continued to work on the contested side to his game this year which is likely to continue this Summer.
