WESTERN Bulldogs coach Rodney Eade says his club is highly unlikely to recruit former Sydney Swans forward Barry Hall at the end of this year.

Eade, who coached Hall at the Swans for half a season in 2002, said the tempestuous goalkicker was not on the Dogs' current radar and that outlook probably wouldn't change.

"If push came to shove, you'd say highly unlikely," Eade told afl.com.au.

"We'll talk about these sorts of things later on. We haven't even thought about it right now. It's a list management issue for us to discuss down the track.

"People keep asking about it but, to be honest, we're worrying about the next 10 or 12 weeks and hopefully our finals campaign.

"It's not even discussed, or on the radar for us to talk about."

Eade said plenty had changed since the Dogs made a considerable push to acquire Hall during the 2008 trade period.

"We were interested in him last year, but it's 12 months on, he's 12 months older and our list is 12 months down the track. Our tall kids are a year older," he said.

"There's a whole different set of circumstances this year.

"We'll look at those things but we're just more focused on what we're doing now. Talking about him is not a priority at the moment."

Eade said his own personal relationship with Hall had remained intact over the years.

"I coached Barry and got along very well with him," he said.

"I've kept in touch with him over the journey and we get along well."

Hall ended his seven-and-a-half year career with the Swans on Tuesday but said he could be keen to continue with another club in 2010.
