Tim English has done a lot right in 2020.
But if there’s one element of his performance he wasn’t been overly happy with… it was his hair.
The 22-year-old was best on ground for the Bulldogs against Essendon, but wishes he’d had a chance to sharpen up his look for Friday night footy.
“I haven’t been able to get a haircut,” English joked on ABC Grandstand.
“I’ve wanted a haircut for so long and I wanted to get one just before I came up to the hub, but I just missed out.
“Now it’s sort of growing out and it’s a bit too thick at the minute.
“I’m not a big fan of it.”

English and the Bulldogs let their football do the talking against the Bombers on Friday night, bouncing back strongly after a disappointing loss to Carlton.
But the talking hasn’t just been about football, with the Bulldogs’ array of hub-life hair-styles generating plenty of discussion.
English, while claiming he is desperate for a cut, has no interest in enlisting the services of the Bulldogs’ in-house barbershop.
“I can get it cut here… Laitham Vandermeer had his sides done by Billy Gowers, but I’m not sure I’ll put my faith in Billy Gowers with the clippers,” he said.
“(A haircut) will be first on my list when we finish the quarantine period on Monday I think.”
