Three players have been added to the Western Bulldogs’ squad that defeated Adelaide last weekend for Sunday’s round 22 fixture against the Brisbane Lions.

Jackson Macrae, Jason Tutt and Liam Jones have all been named on the Dogs’ extended bench for the twilight fixture at the Gabba.

Key-forward Jones pushed his case for a senior recall kicking three goals in VFL-affiliate Williamtown’s 19-point victory over North Ballarat last Sunday, while Jackson Macrae was influential in the Seagulls’ midfield.

Tutt was the match day emergency for the senior side last week against Adelaide.

The Bulldogs will look to continue their strong month of football that has reaped three wins from their past four matches.

Brisbane have won two of their past four matches, coming off a 60-point victory over the bottom of the ladder GWS Giants at home last Saturday night.

The Lions and Dogs last met in the opening round of the season, in which the Bulldogs were victorious in 68-point rout of the NAB Cup premiers.

Bulldogs All-Australian fancies Ryan Griffen and Will Minson were amongst the best afield for the home side on that occasion, and will again form a potent combination in the Dogs midfield this Sunday.

The Bulldogs will have six different faces in their weekend line-up from the side that defeated the Lions in round one.
