Boom recruit Stewart Crameri is yet to meet some of his Western Bulldogs teammates but already he is thinking of how he can foster the development of the next generation of young pups.
Traded in from Essendon, the 25-year-old believes his experience will be as valuable an asset in the forward line in 2014 as his goal sense and physical presence.
“I think the Bulldogs have a very good promising young group of players and a lot of those players need help with the older guys,” Crameri said.
“Hopefully I can help out with a bit of a leadership role and help them train hard and learn how to play hard as well in games and learn to win big games.”
Crameri was traded to the Bulldogs last week during the Gillette AFL Trade Period in return for pick 26 in this year’s National Draft.
