Easton Wood will play his first game for season 2013, when the Western Bulldogs take on Richmond at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The 23-year-old is the sole inclusion from last week’s competitive showing against Fremantle, while Jason Johannisen has been omitted.

Wood will add another level of dash and rebound to the Bulldogs’ back six, while also bolstering the experience levels down back, alongside Brett Goodes, Tom Young and Jordan Roughead.

After initially being named in an extended 25 man squad, Jackson Macrae, Lukas Markovic and Johannisen have been listed as the emergencies.
