Western Bulldogs captain Matthew Boyd will receive 70.31 points to his future record, but will be available to play this weekend against the Eagles after accepting the Match Review Panel’s sanction for his low impact strike on Geelong’s Joel Selwood.
Boyd avoided a one match suspension due to his exemplary record, along with an early plea.
Mature-aged recruit, Brett Goodes has also accepted the Match Review Panel’s sanction but will miss two weeks after he was cited for engaging in rough conduct against Josh Caddy in the third quarter of Saturday night’s match.
The defender won’t be available for selection against the Eagles on Sunday and the following week against the Kangaroos.
