Promising midfielder Josh Prudden has extended his contract with the Western Bulldogs, ensuring he will remain at the kennel until at least the end of 2015.

Although yet to play a senior game, the 19-year-old has impressed coaches and teammates with his improvement over the past twelve months.

Bulldogs List Manager Jason McCartney said the re-signing was another positive step for the Club as it continues to secure a core group of emerging players.

“Josh has shown a real appetite to learn in his first year at the Club and we are really happy with his progress so far,” McCartney said.

“He is a quality person and has conducted himself like a true professional in his young career to date.”

Prudden was selected with pick 50 in the 2012 AFL Draft, after an impressive season playing with Murray Bushrangers and Assumption College, where he was captain.
