Key Plays:

The Bulldogs continued to dominate the clearances but Hawthorn were the ones who made the biggest impact on the scoreboard.

Draftee Jackson Macrae got a couple of touches early and was unafraid to compete with the likes of Sam Mitchell to get the ball.

A one handed grab by Liam Jones directly followed by a goal further qualifies his ability as a tall forward target.

One to watch:

Jake Stringer showed fans exactly why he was the Bulldogs number one draft pick after being subbed into the game during the third quarter. His first influence on the game was a heavy tackle in the forward line while he had fans on their feet with an outstanding first goal.
