The Western Bulldogs will field a settled line up when they take on Richmond at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with three additions making up the extended 25 man squad.

Easton Wood, Jack Macrae and Lukas Markovic have all been named on an extended bench, with no omissions to last weekend’s team that faced Fremantle.

Assistant Coach Rohan Smith said the three additions would add a mix of experience and excitement if selected in the final sides.

Wood finds himself in contention after being restricted to the sidelines with a hamstring injury in recent weeks.

“We’ve got Easton Wood coming back from injury so it’s great to see Woody come back,” Smith said.

“Just add that little bit of a bigger body, a little bit of experience back into the lineup, which is great.”

Meanwhile, Macrae has continued to press for selection after being named as an emergency last week, and if chosen will make his senior debut on Sunday.

Smith also highlighted the contribution of consummate professional Daniel Cross who will line up for his 200th career game against Richmond.

“I want to talk about one bloke in particular and its Daniel Cross, playing his 200th game this week – what an amazing player he’s been for the Western Bulldogs footy club,” he said.

“The way that he’s so professional, he’s hard working he’s just a ruthless player that just goes out and gives 100% every single week.

“The way that he plays, he’s just the most professional person I’ve ever seen taking the field.”

The Western Bulldogs will go head to head with an undefeated Richmond on Sunday 14 April 2013 at 1:10pm.
