The Footscray Bulldogs are close to finalising their list for the 2015 season with defender and former rookie Mark Austin the most recent acquisition.
Austin’s signature is a major coup for the Bulldogs, along with former teammate Alex Greenwood and midfielder Brent Prismall — who have also recently put pen to paper.
Former Carlton and Collingwood defender Jordan Russell will go on for a second year with Footscray, after joining the Club at the start of the 2014 season.
Russell joined the Bulldogs with 125 AFL games under his belt and will provide another experienced head, to complement the Club’s young list.
Western suburbs product and 2014 premiership player Michael Fogarty will stay on in 2015 and will continue his development under the guidance of new VFL coach, Ashley Hansen.
The 2014 VFL premiers will start their campaign for back-to-back titles on Saturday 18 April at Victoria University Whitten Oval.
