With the coaches’ review front of mind, Western Bulldogs midfielder Jason Tutt says his teammates are determined to put into practice their learnings from last week’s defeat to Carlton.
“It was a pretty solid review, we went over a few things and the coaches had some really solid points,” Tutt said.
“They were really specific in what we need to improve on and we look forward to doing that on the training track and in the game.”
The Bulldogs turn their focus to Adelaide tomorrow in their opposition analysis, as they deconstruct how to best attack Sunday’s clash.
“Today we did a bit of analysis from the Carlton game and then straight after today we get into Adelaide stuff,” he said.
“Thursday morning we will have a look at them and we will go over their strengths and weaknesses and put that into training.”
Tutt was a solid contributor in his sole senior game for the Bulldogs against GWS Giants earlier this year, coming on as a substitute and gathering ten touches, two goals and four inside 50s.
Tutt was good again in the VFL last weekend, hitting the scoreboard and using his speed to break the lines.
The 22-year-old is joined by Tory Dickson, Mitch Honeychurch and Fletcher Roberts, who have been influential at VFL level in recent weeks and will vie for a senior spot against Adelaide this week.
