The Western Bulldogs will go head-to-head with North Melbourne in the return of the Harmony Game this season, which was announced at the AFL Multicultural Ambassador Launch on Wednesday morning.
It will be the second Harmony Game since its launch in 2018, and one of 11 dedicated multicultural-themed matches to take place throughout the 2020 AFL season.
The match, which celebrates and embraces Australia’s cultural diversity, will take place in Round 21 on Sunday, August 9 at Marvel Stadium.
It will be the second meeting between the two Clubs for the season, following a Good Friday clash in Round 4.
Both the Bulldogs and Kangaroos are heavily involved in the community and multicultural space, through the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation and The Huddle programs respectively.
Bulldogs utility Lin Jong was also re-appointed as one of 19 multicultural ambassadors at the launch, for a sixth consecutive year.
His role includes engaging with people from diverse communities, and helping to create opportunities which provide a sense of belonging for people to connect with each other.
The Western Bulldogs will open their 2020 season with a blockbuster clash against Collingwood at Marvel Stadium on Friday, March 20 at 7.50pm.
