The Western Bulldogs are excited to welcome Pirate Life Brewing as their Official Beer Partner for their centennial season in the VFL/AFL.

The new partnership will provide Bulldogs members with exclusive offers at Pirate Life’s South Melbourne venue, a thriving bar and restaurant adjacent to South Melbourne Market.

Bulldogs fans and members will also be able to enjoy Pirate Life beers (including their flagship South Coast Pale Ale and new South Coast Crisp Lager), on game days at Mission Whitten Oval and Marvel Stadium.

Pirate Life General Manager Mark Moran said the timing couldn’t be better to bring together two like-minded brands, each with a passion for their craft and connecting people from all walks of life.

“Teaming up with the Western Bulldogs has the entire Pirate Life crew stoked. We’re passionate brewers and footy lovers, so this is a match made in heaven for us,” he said.

“We’re dedicated to growing the brand in Victoria and look forward to continuing that journey with the Bulldogs community in ‘25.”

Bulldogs Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer Kon Karavias echoed Moran’s sentiment.

“We’re excited to raise a glass and team up with Pirate Life, and help play a role in the growth of their brand in Victoria,” Karavias said.

“We look forward to collaborating with the Pirate Life team this 2025 AFL season, towards creating memorable experiences that continue to bring our fans and members together.”

Pirate Life was established in South Australia in 2014 and today employ over one hundred people Australia wide. Their South Melbourne establishment opened in 2023, taking their venue tally to four nationally.
