Bulldogs defender Izzy Huntington earned herself eight coaches’ votes this week, after impressing in Saturday’s 21-point loss to Carlton.
Returning from concussion symptoms the week prior, Huntington recorded 15 disposals, four tackles and a game-high seven marks in the annual Pride Game.
She was also selected in the backline in AFL Media’s Round 3 Team of the Week.
Skipper Ellie Blackburn was another Bulldog recognised for her efforts, polling three coaches’ votes for her 20 disposals and four tackles.
It is the second time this season the duo has received votes in the 2020 AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year award.
