Milestone man Will Minson did not disappoint against GWS on Saturday, again amassing more hitouts than any other ruckman in round 15 and helping the Western Bulldogs take home the four points.
Playing his 150th career game, Minson collected 45 hitouts and five clearances in another ruck master class against GWS’s Johnathan Giles, and playing an integral part in the Bulldogs four point victory.
“It was a pretty tough game but it was great to get the points in the end,” Minson said.
“We were in there [the game] long enough to get the result that we wanted.”
Minson said the game was made more significant with a number of family and friends travelling to watch his milestone match.
“A lot of friends and family had made the trip to Canberra for the game, and I didn’t want to send them home disappointed let alone the rest of the fans,” he said.
“It definitely means much more.”
