Footscray could jump to as high as sixth on the VFL ladder if they come away with a win against Richmond on Saturday.
The Bulldogs currently sit in ninth place after four wins but could leap up the ladder thanks to a healthy percentage.
Coach Ashley Hansen said the match was no important to any other, and his side would be focused on building on the first half of their year.
“Every week is an important match with premiership points on offer.
“Individually each match offers another opportunity to build on individual performances.”
Dale Morris returns from injury and is a handy acquisition for the youthful Dogs.
“This is a fantastic experience for our young defenders to have a player of Dale’s experience and standing within the game playing alongside them.
“For many it will be their first time so I’m sure they will take a lot away from the time spent on the field with such a great leader of the Club.”
Matt Fuller and Jordan Kelly will also return for Footscray, after missing matches with minor injuries, and would provide depth across the ground.
“Matty had been terribly unlucky so far, so tomorrow is great reward for a lot of persistence.
“He will bring run and carry out of the back half and plenty of enthusiasm due to lack of opportunities recently.
“Jordan was travelling really well before injury, his courageous attacking of the footy and strength around the contest will be critical for our team tomorrow.”
The Dogs will field one of its’ strongest outfits of the year, with 17 AFL-listed players named to take on the Tigers.
