Round 2 – St Kilda v Western Bulldogs

Saturday 2 April, 7:25pm

Etihad Stadium

With two of the youngest lists in the competition, the Bulldogs and the Saints have struck up a rivalry in recent years. After a disappointing round six encounter where the Saints overcame a 55-point deficit to post the win, the Bulldogs exacted revenge in round 13. The two sides will go head to head in round two under lights at Etihad Stadium in a match that is sure to set the tone for the year ahead for both clubs. The match will also be Saints skipper Nick Riewoldt’s 300th career game and a fundraiser for the Maddie’s Vision, which will no doubt bring the spotlight to the occasion.

The Club’s return to Friday night football is anticipated to be an exciting clash between two 2015 finalists. The Bulldogs will play two more Friday night matches in season 2016 – round 19 against Geelong at Simonds Stadium and round 21 against Collingwood at Etihad Stadium.

Round 7 – Western Bulldogs v Adelaide Crows

After announcing a partnership with White Ribbon in November 2015, the Club will host a White Ribbon themed-match against Geelong in round 13. The Bulldogs will wear a White Ribbon on their guernseys to help raise awareness for the anti-domestic violence campaigners. The return match in Geelong in round 19 will take place on White Ribbon night (Friday 29 July), with the Club to conduct a six-week campaign between the two matches to promote respectful and safe relationships.

Round 15 – Sydney Swans v Western Bulldogs
