In his first two seasons Jake Stringer had shown glimpses of his supreme talent, but in 2015 he announced himself as one of the most dangerous young forwards in the competition.
With an All-Australian selection and a fifth placed finish on the Coleman Medal tally, the past 12-months has seen the emergence of the number five pick overall in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft.
His most commanding performance however came in round four against a previously undefeated Adelaide, where the 21-year-old kicked a career-high six goals, in less than three quarters of football.
Stringer put on the red vest in the shadows of three quarter time as a precautionary measure after experiencing some tightness in his hamstring.
Adelaide’s reprieve in Stringer’s exit from the game was only minute, with the power forward having already done the damage to set-up a 57-point victory and take the Bulldogs to a 3-1 start to the season.
