Western Bulldogs Chief Executive Officer David Stevenson today acknowledged the significance of the Club’s members, citing their feedback as integral to future success.
"A big focus on our members and our consumers, we want to really create a club that people continue to be proud of.
"Our members and our supporters want us to be bold.
"They want us to be aggressive and they want us to look under every rock for opportunities for us to become a great powerhouse football club.
"We look forward to winning another premiership and we want to invest our time against bold, innovative ideas."
Stevenson visited Ballarat on Wednesday, to team up with Club partner WorkSafe to promote Health and Safety Week 2015.
Addressing media in the region, Stevenson identified growing the Club’s presence in Ballarat as another key priority.
"We're very excited about the partnership with Ballarat and having two games come from 2017 at Eureka Stadium, and we're really looking forward to bringing football to Ballarat.
"We have spent a fair bit of time there, we're really excited by it.
"With the realignment of the field that's happened already and we're counting down the days until 2017.
"We're really confident in the development being on track for 2017 and a great support from the State Government and the City of Ballarat to help us get there."
Stevenson also outlined several other focuses for the Club in the short term.
“We certainly want to grow our presence in the community, we certainly want to grow support in membership, we want to invest in our most important focus which is football, and we think we can do that."
