Experienced campaigner Jed Adcock was among Footscray's major ball-winners, gathering 24 disposals and kicking a goal in his side's thrilling four-point win over Williamstown. 

Youngster Brad Lynch, who was recruited with pick No.11 in last year's NAB AFL Rookie Draft, collected a team-high 27 possessions and booted the Dogs' first goal of the afternoon.
