The Western Bulldogs will open the 2017 season with a blockbuster against Collingwood on Friday night.
The AFL today confirmed the Round 1 fixture, which sees the Club play against the Pies in a season opener for the first time since 1993.
The full 2017 AFL fixture will be released on Thursday, October 27.
