Season in short
A promising debut season from the strongly built former Dandenong Stingray.
A shoulder injury ended his season in July but showed enough to suggest he could be a long term prospect in a key defensive post.
Played 11 games at VFL level for Footscray where he averaged 16 disposals, five marks and three tackles, and made his senior debut in round nine against Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium.
Still only 18-years-old, will only get better with more time in the system.
The stat that mattered
Averaged three rebound 50s per contest at VFL level.
What they said
“Just to be a part of it and play my first game is unreal and being a part of the success in my first year at the Club is pretty awesome.
“A key focus for me will be endurance. Just to look to boost that so it allows me to run out the games better and keep up with the key forwards these days who are running quite well and have good tanks.
“Obviously skills, looking to improve those and make sure I can use the ball well coming out of defence and find a target.”
