Relatively new to the game but was the Burnie Dockers’ best first-year player in 2014. Also best on ground  for Tasmania against Queensland at North Hobart Oval. Excellent runner who plays through the midfield.

The best gut-runner in women’s football. A wily veteran returning to football after a year off travelling, she is rarely beaten in the air or on the ground. Always takes the game on and is best-suited across half-back.

5. Emma KEARNEY   24-SEP89    168cm                   Victoria/Melbourne Uni
Has gone from strength to strength as a tough and highly skilled midfielder who works hard all day. A great leader on the field. Has also played elite-level cricket.

Versatile, hard-running and highly skilled veteran who can play as a small defender or outside midfielder. Started footy after a long and successful indoor cricket career. Takes nothing for granted and works hard both on and off the track.

Veteran ruckman who has had to play second fiddle to Aasta O'Connor at Darebin. With O’Connor out as she recovers from a knee injury, Kinross has relished the chance to be No. 1 ruck and is improving rapidly. Courageous player who regularly drops back to make life hard for opposition key forwards.

Grew up an avid Bulldogs fan, she reads the play well and has high work rate. Elite stoppage player who positions herself well in aerial contests and outmuscles opponents to gain front position. Loves kicking goals when given a chance.

Started at Auskick with her brothers and has developed into a super-reliable footballer. Strong overhead and works hard to provide protection for her team's ball carrier. A star at under-18 level who has moved into senior footy with ease. With a big tank, her running between the 50s is second-to-none.

A natural leader, the highly rated mid-sized defender is excellent at intercept marking and makes good decisions. Crippled by serious injury in the early stages of her senior career, she has returned bigger and better, ready to take her game to the next level.

Star forward who has returned to the side after missing the Dogs’ earlier match through injury. Has strong hands and a massive engine. Also shows incredible leadership with her on-field actions and off-field preparation.

Lightning-quick midfielder with sublime skills, ‘Chioch’ has been a standout player in the VWFL for close to a decade. A four-time All-Australian at national level, premiership player with Diamond Creek and Helen Lambert medallist as best player in the VWFL. Captain of the Bulldogs.

‘Trendy’ is a quick, outside runner who displays courage under fire. Tough, consistent and a great team player.

With an athletics background, Randall likes to play a running game, using her pace and agility to advantage. Though new to the game, is determined to learn more and driven to succeed.

Reliable defender who recently transferred to Eastern Devils from Darebin for greater playing opportunities. Grew up playing footy with boys, before starring at youth girls level. Spent past couple of years finding her feet at senior level. Has natural skills to tear the game apart.

25. Brianna DAVEY         20-JAN-90           171cm          Victoria/St Kilda Sharks
Played junior footy with boys before moving to soccer. A member of Matildas’ soccer squad, she is one of a handful of female footballers who has also played another sport at the highest level. Has sure hands and an ability to break away from packs. Can play key position or as a bullocking midfielder. Dangerous player who can blow a game open.

One of the most improved players in the Victorian academy squad. Has blossomed in the first ruck at local level after the retirement of VWFL legend Lou Wotton. Keen to learn with a natural competitive streak, she has endeared herself to teammates and coaches

BJ is an effervescent, high-leaping half-forward who has returned from a serious knee injury to once again be a top-liner. Large tank allows her to cover the ground with ease and hit up and double back when required. Slick by hand and foot, she is a quiet achiever with footy smarts well beyond her years.
