With the competition as even as it is and the Dogs down on form, there’s no such thing as a sure thing over the next seven weeks. With a resurgent Carlton to come this weekend, the Dogs will now follow a pattern of every other game being in Melbourne. Only trips to Cairns and Brisbane will see the side travel interstate, and there is of course Round 22’s historic clash with the Power in Ballarat.
