Bulldogs Matthew Suckling and Katie Brennan will go head-to-head with stars of the game on AFL Grand Final Day, in a bid to be crowned FOX FOOTY’s Longest Kick champion.
This Saturday, current AFL and AFLW stars will join some of the legends of the game as they attempt to kick 75 metres across Melbourne’s Yarra River.
Carlton’s Bryce Gibbs will return to defend his title against the Bulldog pair, along with Josh Kennedy (West Coast Eagles), Ben Brown (Kangaroos), Josh Kelly (GWS), Jayden Hunt (Melbourne), AFLW star Sarah Perkins (Adelaide), and past champions Brendan Fevola and Dustin Fletcher.
Wildcard superboot James Pennycuick who roosted the Sherrin 73.9m in last year’s competition will also return.
The FOX FOOTY Longest Kick, will be broadcast LIVE from 10am of FOX FOOTY, hosted by the Bounce team, led by Jason Dunstall and Danny Frawley.
Members of the public can head along to watch and join in the festivities at Birrarung Marr’s Lower Terrace, on the banks of the Yarra River from 9:30am.
