Barry Hall was initially drafted to St Kilda in 1995 and went on to become one of the best forwards of the modern era.

After a decorated career at his second club, Sydney, came to an end in 2009, Hall nominated the Bulldogs as his club of choice.

The Dogs traded pick 47 to Sydney, which was on-traded to Brisbane, who eventually took Ryan Harwood in the National Draft.

His strong relationship with the then Bulldogs Senior Coach Rodney Eade was a major factor in his decision to nominate the Dogs.

Hall kicked 80 goals in his first season at the Club and 55 in an injury-interrupted second season (40 of those goals came in the final eight games of the season).

Hall retired at the end of the 2011 season after playing 39 games and kicking 135 goals for the Bulldogs.

He finished his career as a three-time All Australian, led the goal kicking tally (at three different clubs) on eleven occasions and captained the Swans’ 2005 premiership side.

He is the first player to kick 100 goals for three AFL teams.
