Western Bulldogs midfielder Jack Macrae is tipped to lead the voting for the Club in tonight’s Brownlow Medal count.
Macrae, who enjoyed a brilliant 2018 season, has been widely recognised among media experts and betting agencies as the Bulldog most likely to be the biggest vote-puller for the Club.
Macrae averaged 32.8 disposals from 19 games (he missed three matches due to a hamstring injury), ranking him second behind Brownlow favourite Tom Mitchell for average possessions in the AFL.

The 24-year-old amassed four games of 40 disposals or higher, three performances above 35 possessions, and he only dipped below 30 touches on three occasions for the season (one of those coming when he missed the second half against the Power in Round 13).
Bulldogs’ vice-captain Marcus Bontempelli finished seventh in last year’s count with 19 votes, ahead of Macrae (8) and Jason Johannisen (7).
The Bulldogs have won 10 Brownlow Medals since the award began in 1924, with Adam Cooney the last to salute in 2008.
