Western Bulldogs duo Monique Conti and Aisling Utri are the NAB AFL Women's Rising Star nominees for round four.
Conti and Utri were instrumental in the Bulldogs’ record breaking 73- point victory over the Blues at VU Whitten Oval on Friday night.
Conti, selected fourth in last year's NAB AFLW Draft, made her Bulldogs debut in round one and has impressed with her ability to take the game on.
At just 165cm, Conti is known for her fierce competitiveness. The 18-year-old dual-sports star was part of the Boomers team that lost to the Townsville Fire in a three-game WNBL finals series in late January.
Utri joined the club as a Rookie in August and was quickly upgraded to the senior list.
The 19-year-old former hockey player’s pace, hardness and skills have impressed in her first season at the Kennel.
It is the second time the Bulldogs have had a double Rising Star nomination, with Libby Birch and Bonnie Toogood taking the round two honours.
Players qualify for the Rising Star if they were 21 years old or younger on 1 January 2018 and have not previously been nominated.
