A look at what was said in the media after the Bulldogs’ come-from-behind win against Geelong on Saturday night.
Aaron Naughton finished with four goals and broke what had been a scrappy encounter wide open, while star midfielder Marcus Bontempelli was sublime with 27 disposals, six inside-50s and a goal. – AAP journalist Michael Ramsey
We don't know how far we can take it but there is a lot of positivity around what might happen. – vice-captain Marcus Bontempelli
It’s got to be daunting coming up against Geelong’s treasure trove of midfielders, but not daunting enough for this brilliant young Bulldogs group. When they fire and kick goals, the Bulldogs are the giant-killers of the AFL. They have beaten Sydney, Hawthorn, Richmond, Brisbane, Port Adelaide and Geelong — four of them top-eight teams. They dominated the last quarter on Saturday. – Herald Sun journalist Mark Robinson

We knew we weren’t far from it, and then we had a bit of a chat at half-time and came out a different team. – forward Sam Lloyd talking to ABC Grandstand on Sunday
The Bulldogs won the inside-50 count but it was only in the final quarter when they decided to play with six forwards that their effort was rewarded on the scoreboard, kicking five goals to Geelong's one to overrun the ladder leader. – The Age journalist Peter Ryan
We have learnt a bit that you have got to be right on edge against everyone. But in recent times everyone is asking questions of the team we have beaten, like they aren’t fronting up. We are not a bad side, as I have been saying. The competition, as you can tell through the ladder, (is even), they are all hard to win. (But) we are coming, we are emerging again … all I look at now is what is up ahead of us, and the possibilities of what that might be. – senior coach Luke Beveridge
It was a great feeling waking up this morning with a big smile on my face after such a good win. – midfielder Pat Lipinski talking to AFL Nation on Sunday
Pound-for-pound, Sam Lloyd has been one of the better value pick-ups of the season. He was excellent again on Saturday night for the Bulldogs, when he booted three important goals in their come-from-behind win over Geelong at Marvel Stadium. It took Lloyd's season tally to 25 majors, and he's leading the club's goalkicking board. The 29-year-old is in target of eclipsing his career-high goal tally, when he kicked 35 majors in 2016, and has helped provide some polish to the Dogs' front half. – AFL Media journalist Callum Twomey
