The Western Bulldogs have informed forward Brianna McFarlane that she has not beenoffered a new contract with the Club in 2025.
McFarlane played 12 games for the red, white and blue across two seasons after being drafted via the Bulldogs VFLW program.
The 24-year-old kicked six goals in her first season at the Kennel in 2024, crossing from Brisbane after two seasons on their list in Queensland.
“Brianna provided plenty across her two seasons with our AFLW side,” AFLW List Manager, Dan Fisher said.
“She began her time with us as a key forward, but her shift to defence late in 2024 showed some promising signs.”
“Unfortunately, with the challenge of list spots and a Club preference to take three picks into the draft, we couldn’t offer Brianna a contract.”
“We’re hopeful that Brianna will remain around the Club heading into our 2025 pre-season across our VFLW program.”
