The Western Bulldogs have welcomed Luke Kennedy with Pick 62 in the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft.
Kennedy is a defensive and speedy midfielder with clean hands from the Sandringham Dragons.
He won a senior best-and-fairest at Ormond as a 16-year-old, and placed second in the Dragons’ count this season after impressing in the back-end of the campaign.
Known for his terrific ball-use, endurance and vision, Kennedy’s ability to kick on both feet is also highly regarded.
His defensive efforts helped his teammates flourish, but still managed to impact himself in the Dragons’ premiership win.
